Toys for the imagination... Imaginative play is a crucial part of early childhood development. Toys made by hand from natural materials are less rigid and stylised than machine-made, mass-produced toys. This means the child is encouraged to exercise more of their imaginative skills while playing with the toys. Unfortunately the handcrafted quality is absent in so many of today's toys leaving little consideration for the individuality of young children.
