The BABYBJÖRN Active Carrier has been specifically designed by parents and medical experts to carry your baby for longer periods and is a perfect stroller alternative.
The ergonomically fashioned shoulder straps are designed to relieve your shoulders and provide maximum support for your back whilst allowing baby to sit safely and securely. Its unique design allows breast-feeding without removing baby.
The carrier can be used for newborns (minimum weight 3.5kg / 8Ibs) with the safety strap fastened, but we suggest not using until baby can hold up their head without support (approx. 2-3 months). The head support can be broadened as baby gets older and his neck stronger, so parent and child can have eye contact, or it can be folded down so baby can face forward and look around.
