Unlike conventional sheepskins that use toxic chemicals for the scouring and tanning processes of treating the sheepskin - which are highly toxic and can emit dangerous 'off gas' containing arsenic and formaldehyde. This eco sheepskin rug has been thoroughly hand-processed without the reliance of these harmful chemicals.

Eco sheepskin wool can absorb up to 30 percent of it's own weight in moisture without feeling cold or clammy. This is how wool creates a natural dry zone around the baby. It is recommended that you use Imse Vimse Shampoo to wash your sheepskin, as this contains lanolin which will preserve and protect the properties of your sheepskin.
