Nature Baby mattresses contain 100% certified organic wool knops, encased in a pure certified organic linen/cotton blend.

Nothing beats the superiority of wool for absorbing body moisture and regulating body temperature. Air is allowed to circulate between the soft wool knops, keeping baby warm and dry without overheating. Nature baby mattresses are hand made without the use of plastics, solvents, flame-retardants, formaldehyde and the fabrics used are completely free of any chemical residue. Nature Baby mattresses do not use coconut fibres due to the toxic fumigation process this fibre goes through on entrance to New Zealand. The wool knops, while providing support, do not place undue pressure on the back of baby's developing head.
