We would like to share some of our favourite family remedies with you.
Baby Wipes
Make your own baby wipes - to be used with cloth wipes. We recommend using organic cotton or bamboo wipes as they are especially soft on babies skin.
Ingredients:
1 cooled cup of chamomile tea
1 teaspoon honey
Directions:
Shake well. Soak wipes in this mixture.
These wipes are beautifully soothing on baby's skin, as honey is naturally antiseptic it aids in the healing of nappy rash very gently and effectively. |
Teething Remedies
Here are some healthy options to help soothe your teething baby.
- Cut an organic apple or banana into slices and freeze. Cover with a muslin cloth and let baby chew on it. A tasty alternative to teething rings.
- Freeze a soft wet washcloth and give to baby to suck and chew. Perfect for soothing babies with the most sensitive gums.
- Gently rub a cooled Chamomile tea bag on baby's gums. Chamomile has natural calming properties which will help soothe distressed gums.
(Do not use if baby has allergies; do not leave tea bag with baby.) |
